The ubiquitous Pre-K for PA campaign is considered one of the most widely recognized advocacy campaigns among lawmakers and executive staff in the PA Capitol.
Over the past eleven years, kate & co. has built a statewide following through creative marketing, prolific social media planning and implementation, and earned media supported by innovative research and partnerships. The campaign started from an idea to advocate on behalf of three- and four-year olds and has grown to 21,000 supporters, more than 600 supporting organizations, 21,000 social media followers (with hundreds of thousands of impressions each year), and an impressive Executive Leadership Council that proudly includes two former governors.Our efforts have contributed to securing nearly $300 million in additional state funding for high-quality pre-k programs.
